| These
are my all-time favorite needles. I bought a pair as a special treat
because the wood and the price were exotic ($17/set of 5). Now, I want a
set in every size. The yarn glides smoothly over the wood, but the needles
are not slippery like metal. The tips of the needles are slightly blunt
and rounded, which I prefer. I can't imagine more luxury except perhaps to
knit angora or cashmere on ebony needles! |

| I
absolutely love the Noble ebony needles. I have knit 5 pair of Koigu socks
on them, and this was such a luxury! They are ever so smooth that the
stitches just glide across the needles. I have just ordered a 4" set,
to see if I like that length as well. I will build up my inventory slowly,
but surely! They are a pleasure to work with! |

| I
hve one set of the ebony double points in 2 size. The ebonys are a luxury
that you can't take out of the house and makes dark yarn really really
hard to see. Would never do it again if I had a do-over on that purchase.
My ebony size 6 straights also broke and they would not replace it till I
mailed it in for viewing, so I said thanks so much and just superglued and
sanded. Luckily it was a clean break. |
