These
DP needles come in sets of five and are manufactured in Germany. They are
similar in appearance to Inox -- metal with grey finish. They come in US
sizes 0 through 8; price $7 to $7.50. I have used them for Koigu socks and
so far am happy with the points and the overall feel and performance.

(see above review) sent me a set of Noble (the same company that makes the
much admired Rosewood and Ebony needles) Nickel dpns in size one to try
out since I said I'd never heard of them. Even in the small size, these
metal needles didn't feel cold and hard and didn't bother my arthritic
hands as has been my experience with the other metal needles I've used.
The yarn slipped quite nicely on them, but not so nicely that I had
problems keeping the stitches on the needle. They come in a nice matte
gray finish and are quite pointy. I would prefer a shorter length but will
definitely use these needles again as they don't seem to bend like the
Crystal Palace and Brittanys do in the smaller sizes. Thanks, Mary! (I
will post a photo as soon as the batteries recharge in my digital camera.)
