I
find these needles a bit "grabby" - they don't have a nice
finish at all. The points are quite long and sharper than I like, though
my mother likes this shape. I only buy these needles if I can't find my
size in another brand (they are easy to find), and I'm trying to phase
them out of my collection. On the plus side, though, I do find the 7"
length more comfortable than 8" needles I've used.

I
stopped buying these needles because I was breaking so many of them -
they're also quite flexible up until at least size 4 or 5 US. I have many
partial sets but I was able to break up to size 5 with my usual tight
knitting. Nice and lightweight though.

And
now for a minority opinion - I love my Quicksilver DPN's! I enjoy working
with a 7" needle (no stitches falling off the ends) and I think the
finish on the Quicksilvers gives just the right amount of
"slide" to the stitches (wood DPNs tend to be a little too
"grabby" for my taste). Another plus is that these needles are
easy to find in my area and relatively inexpensive.
