love this yarn! Color range is huge, it contains a generous amount of a
single extra ply to use for strengthening toe and heel, and it gets
marvelously softer with just one washing, altho it isn't hard even just
out of the skein. Works very nicely in combination with Wildfoote.
Not as available as I could like. |

| I'm
extremely fond of Froehlich Blauband. I never even use the reinforcing
thread but the yarn is very tightly spun. I have a pair of Fair Isle Socks
made from this yarn (a pattern from one of the Socka books) and they've
been abused terribly - put in the washer and dryer and they're still going
strong. The socks weren't even knit that tightly at a size 2 needle but
they're wearing really well. I wish I could find a good source for more of
this yarn! |

| I
love this yarn for socks! My husband is "anti-itch" and loves
his navy blue socks that I make him for every day. I use a size zero
needle to make his socks and need 3 skeins, but the result is worth it!
Where, oh where do I get more? Can anyone help? Please help! |

| One
of my favorite sock yarns! It feels lovely, wears very well, comes in
*lots* of colors and a card of reinforcement yarn is included with each
skein. I usually hand wash my handknit socks, but one of a pair of these
accidentally went through the laundromat washer and dryer, and I can't
tell which sock it was. 2 skeins will make a pair of socks for me or for
