| I think that this is the wool version of the more common cotton Fortissima; in any case, the color range is interesting, since all I have seen is multi- color, and ranges from very conventional greys or denim blues to wild parrot shades of red (with blue, green and yellow), yellow (with red, blue and green), and various shades of royal or dark blue (with red, yellow and green). It works well with Nylamb and/or Wildfoote. I haven't washed this yet, but it is nice to work with, and feels like it would be pretty long- wearing. | |||

| Very nice yarn and very forgiving. First sock ever went through lots of frogging and the yarn behaved like new - no splitting ( second sock was perfect!). Washed in the machine and felt even softer. I will use this yarn again. Plus there is PLENTY in a skein to finish 2 large socks and have leftovers. The variegated colors- I used bright primaries- have very short color runs, usually an inch to 2 inches and somewhat random. The pink variegated looks similar in that respect. | |||
