Barbie’s Micro Mini Sock
This sock fits the poseable barbie, and mulan type dolls. these dolls have flat feet. they do not wear high heels, but sensible type shoes. this sock is not for the faint at heart. it’s tough keeping track of rows, and stitches.

Supplies
lace weight wool
#0 double point needles (5)
#00 double point (1)
Gauge 6 sts/ ˝” in st st
Abbreviations
k- knit
p- purl
st st- stockingnette stitch (knit one row, purl one row.)
ssk- slip, slip knit
p2tog- purl two together
Cast on 16 st
using the continental method. divide
evenly 4 sts on each of the 4 needles.
*k1 p1* x 6 rows
change to st st, and continue until piece measures 1” in length.
Heel
flap
place stitches on needles # 3 and #4 on waste yarn.
row
1- knit across 8 sts.
row 2- purl across 8 sts.
repeat these two rows for 8 rows total.
Turn
heel
row 1- k across 5 st ssk turn
row 2- sl 1, p2, p2tog turn
row 3- sl 1, k2, ssk, turn
row 4- sl 1, p2, p2tog, turn
Gusset
with needle #1 k across 4 sts.
with the #00 needle pick up 4 stitches. then
with your #0 needle knit the 4 stitches on your #00 needle.
needle #2- k across 4 sts.
needle #3- k across 4 sts.
with the #00 needle, pick up 4 stitches. then
with your #0 needle, knit the 4 stitches on you #00 needle.
k 2 sts on needle #1.
you now have 6 sts on needles #1 and #4. and
4 sts on needles #2 and #3.
k one round even.
next row- k to last 3 sts, k2tog,
k1. k across the 4 sts on needles
#2 and #3.
needle #4- k1 ssk, k to end.
k 2 rounds even.
next row- k to last 3 sts. k2tog,
k1. #2 and #3 k across all sts.
#4 k 1, ssk
k 4 more rows.
Toe
needle one k1 k2tog k1
needle two k1 ssk,k1
repeat again on needles three and four
k 2 rnds even
needle one k2tog, k1
needle two k1 ssk
repeat again on needles three and
four
k 1 rnd even
needle one k2tog
needle two ssk
needle three k2tog
needle four ssk
draw up the yarn through remaining four stitches, and weave in the ends.
make a second Micro-Mini sock.
