Twenty-nine uses for Minisocks by our own
Socknitters and Minisocknitters

1. Add a hanger and use it for a package decoration on the outside like a ribbon. Nancy N.
2. Add it to a card, and on the back put the washing instructions. This would be very useful if the contents of the package were knitted pieces. Allison
3. Fill the mini sock with coins to equal the number of years old. Debbi Young
4. Put a couple of pieces of candy, or a small candy cane inside. Nancy N.
5. Use them for doll socks. Nancy N.      
6. Add a hangar for Christmas tree decorations. Attach 2 of them together by the hangars.
7. Use as earrings or a pendant or charm bracelet, pin, barrettes, headband, etc. Gini (NY)
8. Use the socks alone as Christmas and birthday cards. Put a note inside the sock. Alison
9. Put a gift certificate inside of the sock for a gift and hang sock on tree.
10. Use on a key chain.
11. Use them as a soap sock, with a gift soap inside. Barb. B.
12. Use as a lapel pin.
13. Make the sock into a sachet for a herbal moth-repellant.  Use inside sweater bags, or in drawers with wool items.
14. Fill the socks with whole cloves or lavender for moth repellant. Nancy N.
15. Make a mobile of mini socks.
16. Make a wreath of the mini socks. Debra C.
17. Decorations  string them along the edge of the mantle.
18. Decorations on a sweater, or sweatshirt.
19. Pin to curtains (or bulletin board) in 'teaching room'. Barb. B.
20. Put mini gift in a mini sock
21. Put mini sock in a card as a 'sock gift certificate'. Pair of real socks will come later in yarn or color of your choice. Good for last minute gift.
22. How about putting the table napkin & flatware (or just the flatware, whatever) in each sock and then lining up the socks on the table itself? This way, the tree isn't jostled so much and  the table has a cheerful look to it.
23. How about mini socks garland for the Christmas tree? They could be strung on yarn with some added wooden beads and old buttons for a quaint, country look garland. If you are really ambitious, you could make mini mittens and mini sweaters to add to the garland,  too. Wren 
24. How about using the mini sock(s) filled with potpourri and hang them from the rear view mirror  make the car smell nice. Ann Brown
25. Stuff it, sew up the top and make it a pin cushion.
26.  Stuff it with catnip, sew up the top and make it a cat toy.
27. Put them on your dog or cat (and I'd like to watch you do that) to keep their feetsies warm in the winter.
28. Use them for gift tags. Put a piece of paper inside with the recipients name on it and then tie the sock to the package with pretty ribbon.
29. Make two alike and take them to your local hospital for those tiny babies in the infant ICU.
