Washing fleece before spinning your sock yarn

I use Era for washing my fleeces, fill the washer with just hot water, put in Era, agitate and then put the wool into the water, soak, spin, remover wool, fill washer with the same temp water, soak and spin, Just be sure that the washer doesn't agitate while the wool is in the washer!!
