I'm understanding the difference between the border and el. I don't think I made my question as clear as I should have. If I follow the directions *k6,sl1,yo,k1,pass yo and slip st over k1, turn, purl 7, turn* and rep this *--* 6 times more, I don't end up ready to k1 on previous rnd. If I turn as instructed the stitches are ready to be knit. I'm thinking I shouldn't purl 7 on the last repeat. I hope this is a little clearer.
