Hi, all: I, too, was stumped for a moment! <g> Perhaps the instuctions might read:
[ k7, turn, p7, turn.
*K6, sl1, yo, k1, pass yo and slip st over k1, turn,
purl 7, turn.* Repeat * -- * 5 times more,
k6, sl1, yo, k1, pass yo and slip st over k1].
You should be back to the next k1 of previous (border) round. Repeat [ --] 7 times more. First round of el rectangles complete.
Just my thoughts. This is very interesting and different knitting for me! Thanks, Annabelle, for this neat class. I'm doing mine in 3 colors of Regia 4 ply, and my gauge required 1.25 mm needles (very dinky)! Cheers! Reba
