What size (shoe) foot is this sock supposed to fit? I wear 6-6 1/2 and alot of patterns are sized for a 7-8 size foot. Also, I am a loose knitter. I have never worked with fingering weight yarn and am concerned that they make a small enough needle for me to work in this yarn. If I get gauge with say a sport weight yarn, can I use that?
