I'm having trouble starting round 3. The directions say [With right side facing, pick up and knit 7 sts from side of rec in rnd 2, turn. K2tog...] There isn't a purl row there? Also, do the rectangles get longer as you decrease their width? You're still incorporating the same # of stitches from the previous row?
I forgot to mention: I'm using one color, rather than several (stash burp!), so I'm not having to cut and add colors. That seems to be changing the way I start each row.
Other than this blatant confusion, I'm having fun with these. Once you establish the pattern, it's very simple. I managed to get through lesson one with only one tinking, while watching movies on the tube.
