Judy,

I have completed lesson two and tried on my socks. While the general fit is good and it turns out that with the 2" cuff and the 2" (approx) of stripes, they are the perfect length, I think the cast on row itself feels nasty and tight. I did a long tail cast-on ala EZ (with no initial knot) over two needles. It looks fine (and maybe this is because I have bigger than usual calves). Can I undo the cast on edge and redo with a different one without undoing the socks? I was thinking a stretchier cast on might solve the problem, specifically EZ's sewn cast off. Is this possible or do you have another recommendation?

Thank you. My sock looks great and it was already starting to get easier with the two-handed thing even with this limited length!
