Blowups and Progress

After reading that I'm alone with this problem, DH looked at what the blowup did on my computer (Socks came up on both miniatures) .. needed some assurance that I'm not having "visions".. then he checked it on his computer. No problem on his screen. My laptop just won't find that bigger chart. BUT, no problem; as I said, I got them at Judy's site.

Now the Happy Talk ;-) After checking gauge, doing the swatch etc. I have a sock done through 6 stripes on the 8st repeat. Since I'm using circs, I have tried them on several times, checking for tight tension; all is good!! I am imPRESSED!! And it has been fairly fast on WE, 48sts, #2s.. and the needle size was a surprise. I do always have to go down in size to get gauge and was concerned as two-handed knitting is fairly new. Tried it last fall and it worked fairly well but I was not very confidant about what I was doing.

The colors are Country and Heather Green and they are blending very nicely. I just might have to start building a photo album.

Now, how do I hang the chart in a vehicle so I can take this show on the road? Does one memorize charts? This variegated yarn is a tad hard to read to work from previous rows!!

Looking forward to next lesson.
