I kept carrying the chart around with me, and referring to it occasionally, then once I got more comfortable with the whole process, it just keeps coming out of my fingers ;=)) I'm really enjoying making these socks; it took the mystery and fear of the unknown out of something I want to do badly, and to have such instant gratification is a gas! I'm using fingering-weight wool in cream and sort of cornflower blue that I found in my stash, and, on the advice of all the ladies at work, who keep checking on my progress at lunch, I'm continuing the stripes down the leg. I was going to stop at five stripes, and do the rest in cream. Now I don't know what I'm going to do.

At this point, I don't have any questions, which might be just a little scary! I'm apparently not as fast a knitter as I thought I was, or I just don't have the time, but I don't know if I'll get to the heel when you get to the heel. It'll be more fun, if I do. I'll get off the computer and onto the needles!
