Children in Common Challenge

This is a wonderful charity supplying clothing, food and medical supplies to orphans living in extremely poor conditions in Russia and Lithuania. CIC's goal is to supply at least 560 pair of warm, handknitted socks to this worthy cause by July 31, 2006.

Ship Support

Ship Support is a grassroots effort to provide "hugs from home," to our service men and women. The Troops love socks/slippers, hats and other hand knit or crocheted items. The project has a special need for socks/slippers so please participate if you can.

Afghans for Afghans

Afghans for Afghans is a humanitarian and educational people-to-people project that sends hand-knit and crocheted blankets, hats, mittens, sweaters, vests, and VIP SOCKS to the beleaguered people of Afghanistan.

The WMSS was so much fun, we've decided to do it again!
Spring Mini-Sock Swap

not to be confused with our regular sock swap (see below) the SMSS is a decoration-sized sock exchange. For complete details: SMSS

Magical Mystery Socknitting Tour (MMST):

This, our very first group project, was the brainchild of one of our members, Noel, who thought it might be fun to knit up some of the sock patterns on the Internet that don't have photos. The idea being to post photos of the finished socks on the photo page afterward for all the world (more or less) to see.

This project is over but the MMST Photo Pages
are chock-a-block full of wonderful photos

Take a look!!
