This book inspired me to learn how to knit, when I received it through my book club by accident.  It was a real pleasure to read, even when I was a non-knitter.  There are many different projects, from sweaters to shawls to socks, at all skill levels.  Interspersed throughout the book are pieces written  on various people (Barbara Walker and Sally Fox, for example), designers and stores.  I have made 2 projects from this book so far, and have a long list of the others I want to do!
